The CMT Awards 2023 was an unforgettable night with plenty of memorable moments. Country Music legend Carrie Underwood remains the CMT Awards all-time winner with 25 wins total, but sadly did not take home any trophies on Sunday night. The night however was still filled with entertaining performances, fun fashion, and moving acceptance speeches. There was a great mixture of both new and long-time performers including Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, and this year's host Keith Urban. The award show also marked the first time a non-gender binary artist, Orville Peck, was nominated for a CMT Award.
The hottest trends for the night were sparkles, cowboy hats, and country-western boots! Country artists donned glittery formal dresses and flamboyant cowboy hogans for the most part. Keith Urban, in keeping with his role as host, also made a jaw-dropping impression with his deep blue suit and statement lapel pin.
